Section Chairperson Message
It is an honor to serve as Chairperson for the SPE Port Harcourt Section in the 2024/2025 board year.
Our vision remains to foster a dynamic, inclusive, and innovative professional community. This year,
we will focus on sustainability, digital transformation, and capacity building to equip our members
with the skills and network needed for industry growth.
We will strengthen knowledge-sharing and mentorship through technical sessions, leadership workshops,
and strategic partnerships. By bridging knowledge gaps, we aim to empower both young and experienced
professionals in navigating industry challenges.
With the industry evolving toward renewables, decarbonization, and digitalization, SPE PHC will remain
at the forefront of discussions and solutions. While oil and gas remain central, we must also adapt to
emerging trends in the energy sector.
Our commitment to research, innovation, and professional development will continue through conferences,
panel discussions, and outreach programs. These initiatives will help members sharpen their skills and
connect with key industry players.
